Hey there I am needing info on deworming of chickens

Thank you for warm welcome! I have a sick one and giving her Albon so I thought while I have to egg withdrawal I would deworm the others. I have the safe guard liquid. Im worming for whatever I can get out of them. I am not really sure. I gave them each a dose on bread yesterday and low and behold live critters out of them today. So I did not know if I wait 10 days or do again today.

I saved these! Hope it helps- I only dewormed once. And my girls were not laying yet. So I will do the same again. Retreat after 10 days.

The pea sized drop thing is a waste of time.

Fenbendazole dose for roundworms is 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally once, then repeat in 10 days.

If you are wanting to treat for all worms (excluding tape), then you would give 0.23ml per pound of weight orally for 5 days in a row.

For tapeworm, use Prazanquantel.
