I've never kept poultry of any sort before, but am getting my first heritage breed turkeys in the spring.

Currently cohabitate with one adult human, one mini human, two furry things that go woof and two more furry things that go meow.

I discovered BYC several years ago via a Google search when I first became interested in keeping poultry. I've lurked on and off since then, but never had the space to actually keep birds. We recently purchased some land (finally!) that we are developing into a small farm. Turkeys are our first farm addition, so I figured it was time to join BYC officially. :)
