OK I bought 2 baby turkeys of the side of the road. They were suppose to be "hens" but one is deffinatly a tom. I was told that the dark on was a BRONZE and the light on is a BURBON RED..
They were only 2 weeks old. Well I think the light one is a Lilac ?
The light has none of those little ball looking things on her chin like the other one does. also she stays with the hen chickens more ,especially when the other toms go to strutting.

tell me whatcha think. Lilac hen ?

That top pic is a blue slate turkey also called slate blues or lilac's. It looks to be a hen. The pic is blurry but it looks like she may have to red on her side, if that's the case she is mixed with something else.

Nice looking birds. The hen looks like she's a mixed breed. Possibly lilac X buff. The tom is a bronze. They will breed just fine and provide you with nice poults that just won't be much good for showing. They will be great pets or for eating. Good luck with them!

The Tom looks likes an Eastern Wild...the hen looks Slate Blue to me but I am no expert.

Hen and Tom beyond that, I'm clueless. Both nice looking animals. She does look like a mix.

Nice looking turkeys, a pair, 1 tom and 1 hen. It is hard to tell if they are mixed or pure. Blue Slate or Lilac for the hen and Bronze, wild or a mix for the Tom. Feathersite.com has some nice pictures you could use as an example and try to match yours up with them. Also Kevin Porter has a very nice site for turkey pictures too.
