Hello,

Well, there will be 2 of us but not sure what day. I didn't realize that this was a 3 day event.

Number 1 we don't have a camper.
Number 2 we have to many animals to get a sitter for.

So, what day would you all say is the best day to drive down? It's 100 miles one way !!

Hey,

Looks like we wont be able to make it this year. With gas prices at $4.10 a gallon and all I have is my sports car that gets (if I'm lucky) 15-17 highway I just can't afford it. Also this pregnancy has been up and down and my doctor feels it would be safer if I didn't go.

Yes I believe the pot luck will be that day. We wanted to make it a little longer this year because we got such a deal with using the camp that Brent(Bigz) helps with. It is certainly OK to only come for a little bit! I have troubles with my animal babysitting too but I am going to tell my daughters that they have to be home that weekend! (I hope it works) Otherwise I guess I will have to hire a sitter! (funny that that is what I do and I need to hire someone!)

I suppose we'd better get on to the planning stages...the event is nearly here!!!

Is there cabins or something to rent for a night up there? The trailer we were going to use has a frozen wheel. I need air (or at least a place with air to go to) due to health reasons.

I have some pure Ameraucana Roosters that are a bit over a year old as well as a Blue Splash Maran Rooster and copper Maran Rooster also the same age in need of good home, not dinner !!! LOL


Lets see, I could use some lavender silkies, royal purple, chocolate guineas, or any of the unusual colored guineas. Black Runners........ and ther list goes on and on !!!

Not sure what I'll bring yet. Maybe baked beans or a desert !!
