Hey! I’m Brittany and I got my first chicks at 5 years old & grew up with chickens. Fast forward and we now have a chicken farm. My husband and I got our first chicks together on March 8, 2020 & we now have a total of 21 chicks & chickens.
March 2020- Our first 6: Rhode Island Red hen, Delaware hen, Dominique hen, Welsummer hen, & 2- Speckled Sussex hens.
Then in August 2020 we got a few more..some were rescued from horrible owners and some from amazing breeders around FL.
White rock hen, Blue Laced Red Wyandotte hen, Buff Orpington hen, & a Serama Bantam rooster chick.
The rest are chicks & I’m not sure if they are hen or roo...we will find out by spring 2021.
White Frizzled Satin Silkie, Splash Satin Silkie, Partridge Frizzled Showgirl, Buff Silkie
Grey Silkie, Blue Silkie, 2- Black silkies and 3- Gold Laced x Tolbunt chicks.

In my free time I make shirts, car decals, cups, wine glasses and a wood signs. I usually make for myself or gift to family & friends but I’ve sold a few things here and there.

My husband and I met in 2003 & married in 2014. We don’t have children but these chickens & our 2 cats are our kids. I’ve added a pic of our giant cats just for fun. Our 14 y/o Ragdoll, Tink & our 2 y/o Maine coon, Left Twix. They love lounging around the screen patio watching the chickens play.
I never realized how hard it is to get pictures of the chickens..they run so fast or snacking on grass & bugs.
I’m glad I found this forum, it’s helped us so much even tho this is my first time posting I’ve been reading and learning so much!

Oh my goodness! What a beautiful, cute, adorable family!
My husband and I don't have kids either; we have a dog and chickens. Pictures never do fur/feather kids justice, but your pics are great. :)

This is a fantastic forum to be on. Nice people, lots of knowledge, and tons of cute. Welcome!:frow
