hey yall! Any clues to what these are?

I agree the gold one is a Buff. what were the options at your TSC? They usually have little signs posted saying what they are "suposed" to be selling.. The one in the group picture showing all the chicks that is standing all the way to the right looks like a Gold Laced Wyandotte.. just a guess, I am by no means an expert. Maybe the others are EE?

The were labled Red Pullets. But like I said, the friendly people at the TSC were pretty clueless about chickens. EE would not surprise me at all. Though the Orpington really would surprise me! The kids named that one Jeffrey, but we are hoping for a Josephine - and it is noticably bigger than the others.

Anybody got any guesses on the sex of these little chirping piles of fuzz?

Thanks again,

Gordon

The one directly behind the buff orpington in post #7 looks like a New Hampshire. Difficult to tell though.

Most EE's will have slate legs I believe...I'm saying that only because I have read there is another breed that has the "eyeliner" look as chicks. I just can't remember what it is right now... I'll try and research thru my mind (gotta mind like Swiss cheese) to find that info.

Buff Orphington is the orangish one I think.

The buff looks like a pullet.
