Just joined the site.

For some odd reason a few months back I decided our family was gonna raise some chickens for fun, eggs and maybe some life experience for my 3 yr old daughter!

Currently we have 3, 3 week old Barred Rocks. Have finished building the coop/run and has been a blast so far with them in a box in the extra bathroom.

Of course, like I have read on here, I am anxious to know for sure that they are all hens. The picture of them is just over a week ago, theyre growing fast and beginning to get their bars.

Thanks. There are two nesting boxes on the back side. Based off that common plan that's on the www, only I increased its size and made it taller so I could get inside to clean and stuff!

Sweet coop, I like it!
If you want some more opinion on your chicks' gender, post a thread in What breed or gender is this? where someone might be able to help you. However, from what I've heard I think females are darker than males. Don't trust my judgement though, I'm no expert.
