Sorry, I only have ducklings... and they are QUICKLY outgrowing their brooder! I'd love to see pics as well for an indoor set up for the big guys!

be carefully the pekings grow HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!! lol and so quick!! its crazy. but now hes probably 3 feet tall and yeah.... its crazy! lol

When do you think they will fully feather out?! At how many weeks? I do have a duck hutch set up outside when they feather out... but not sure if they will outgrow their brooder by then. My pekins have begun to feather in, but barely.

ETA: Just be sure to wean them off the light. If they get too much heat they won't feather out very good.

i have an indoor set up. I built a small (6x 4 1/2ft by 3 feet tall) pen with a door for my ducks inside. I built it to fit underneath an old loft bed i had in college. (we use the top for for storage now). The pen is in my Painting studio, so the ducks keep me company while i paint. I put a vinyl floor from menards on the bottom and usually line that with a a tarp (the kind people use for boats). It works good. It houses them nicely and they like it. Here's a pic, don't mind my art mess...
