HHD 36 egg incubator

It looks like it has a tray in the bottom with 5 sections. How many of those did yo fill with water?

I don't see a vent. Does it have vents you can adjust?

According to a thread here on BYC a flashing EE means that the sensor has failed (maybe because humidity is too high? From what I've heard most hygrometers can't display too high or too low humidity).

@jher77 I don't think HHD has any alarm for too high humidity, only too low (at least that's how it is with my HHD 24S). Also, if it is the same brand as mine, then there are no vents (will prying open the lid a tiny smidge be helpful, or just create a draft that makes things worse?)

That's too much humidity for the first 18 days.
What did the humidity go up to before it said EE? Did you notice?
Didnt notice this is the first hatch. i have hatched out 13 of the 24 eggs. I will have to work out how to set the humidity.

I noticed no vents also it has an enormous amount of condensation i feel like it needs a vent of some discription. The janoel i had before had a vent for this reason.

Condensation indicates a high humidity, so if you have an enourmous amount of condensation then your condensation is probably too high.

How many trays does the HHD 36 eggs have? My HHD 24S has four trays, but more then two trays would be too much for me (but this depends on climate, time of year etc)

My HHD 24S has four holes in the bottom - both for drainage (if spilled to much water) and for ventilation. I pried open the lid with some toothpicks at one point, but not sure if that's a good thing (might be a big no-no because of drafts at the level of the eggs = shrink-wrap?)
