HHD automatic incubator, HELP!!!

I got an HHD automatic incubator and I don’t know how to get the automatic turner to turn on it’s own, it only turns when I press the reset button, also it helps beeping and says it’s too hot and it does that no matter what temp I set it to. I need help, I need to put some eggs in a few days.

I have no advice on the turner but I would like to recommend that you buy a couple other thermometers and calibrate them.
Do not trust the thermometer on the bator.

The only thing is is that when the thermometer on the incubator gets higher than the set temp an alarm goes off, so even if other thermometers say the right temp that one will say it’s too high and start beeping

That one may beep when it say 100F but what I am saying is you can't trust that when it says 100F it really is 100F in there.
It may really be 107F even though it says 100F.

Does that make sense?


If you have a "known"/calibrated thermometer on the inside and you watch both the boat and the known one you may see that it is off and you would be able to adjust it accordingly.

So that's why you calibrate the thermometers so you can set the temp in the bator accordingly.

If your bator is reading 108 and the calibrated thermometer is reading 102 you know that your bator is off by 6 degrees and you can adjust it.

In other words, if the calibrated thermometer is in the bator and the bator says 100 but the calibrated one says 105 you would set the bator to read 95 so it is actually 100 degrees in the incubator.

I am almost willing to bet money the thermometer that is in the bator is off.
That is how often it happens.
