HHD fast beep

Took my HHD 48 out of storage. When I plug it in I get a fast beep and no display, none of the buttons respond. Any ideas?

Welcome to BYC. Did you manage to get your HHD working again?
I've no personal experience with the brand so can't be of much help here.
