So very glad you joined us at Backyard Chickens. Do you raise Shelties?

BYC is also home to many dog people, handlers, trainers, judges, groomers, field trial folks. etc. I used to breed and show Cocker Spaniels way back in the day.

My theory is folks that breed to a certain standard (dogs) feel that way about chickens, ducks, geese etc. they may raise.

I do show shelties! We do AKC agility! Both of mine are champions. Our coop will be set up right by the agility equipment so the chickens will be getting a show. Who knows they may want to join in. My girls are hoping to teach the chickens the jumping trick. Here are my beautiful boys
