Sorry to say, color with EEs doesn't always mean one sex or another. If it is a solid colored one especially.

yes i agree with roo. and i dont see how only hens can have that color. when you have the genetic make up you pretty much can get anything.

The Leghorn hatched the EE egg. It was my 1st hatch also, and her eggs were not fertile

I learned that--after I let her set on her eggs 2-3 days after this one hatched.

p.s......I made an error-----the baby is 14 weeks old today--8/14--sorry!!!!!! Still.......? Does 1 week make much diff?
