I'm a mum to 4 young children that lives in Brisbane Australia and hoping to learn lots of things about owning chickens. Who would've thought picking a spot in your yard would be so hard for chickens Also picking the right chicken coop

we have approx. 1/2 acre fenced behind our house to keep the kids and dogs in. So I put my coop towards back side of fenced area kinda near the swing set my kids play at.....my chickens are nosy and love to watch the kids and also encourages the kids to go see the chickens and ducks. Plus when we free range them less chance of predators swooping down.
