I bound it off and called it done at 14" long, so it's not a scarf, it's a useless piece of very pretty knitting that will live in my drawer until I die.

The yarn I was using was lovely, and a total PITA to knit with. I threw the rest of the yarn in the garbage. Good riddance.

Maybe you can find a youngster who needs a baby doll blanket or make a little decorative pillow out of it. You've put too much time into it (and we're all vested in it, now, too) that it really should be on display!

Aussies use a lot of abbreviations/slang.
Like calling ourselves Aussies not Australians, and saying mates not friends.
I think it is to distance ourselves from our colonial past and "proper" English.
My poor pommie bro in law (more slang) for English brother in law.

I worked for Walmart for 10 years. That company really comes up with a whole heck of alot of abbreviations! POS, means Point of Sale. POP, is time and place of the transaction.

Went to get our 2026 registration tags for our trucks.
Went to John Deere to pick up a part for the tractor/loader Hubby ordered.
Went to the chainsaw dealer for a 18" chainsaw chain Hubby ordered
Went to Walmart to get a few things.
Went to TSC for cat kibble.
Worked on the garage.
Will crochet after dinner unless I fall asleep.

Reading and taking advice from BYC on chicken feed for mix flock - learning so much and finding chicken feed out there is quite messy.

Searching for feed with no calcium or 1% calcium with high protein

Scratching my head, pulling my hair out checking endless feed product for ingredients and nutritional details

It has been raining light rain all day over here, not enough to get soak in the rain, but enough to feel uncomfortably dam. So spend all day in door..chicken feed..

Did some shopping as the cupboard was becoming bare.
Paid the water bill.
