Yes we do feed the hummers! In fact first thing I did when we moved in last year was hang 5 or so feeders...what a joyHello and welcome to BYC!
Love your screen name, do you feed the hummingbirds? My feeders are already buzzing with hummers, maybe 10 right now. Most of these are migrators and will move north yet as others come up from the south.
Love miniature goats! I kept pygmies for a while, such a riot they are.
Make yourself at home here and welcome to our community!
We also feed the crows (noticed your name) have been feeding them all winter trying to get in their good graces
My husband swears they call to him when they are hungry lol I heard from a friend they warn the chickens when trouble's around and sure enough our chicks react when the crows outside trill (the only word I can think of to describe the sound) I trilled once and they ran for cover (in their brooder) so now I hope if I see a fox I can warn them

Yes, same here, when ever we have moved somewhere, first thing I do is hang the hummer feeders, bird feeders and fill the bird bath! (HUGE bird nerd here)
The winter Ravens wait for me every morning in the trees out back, to bring out dry dog food (this is the preferred food for captive rehabilitation crows and ravens). They circle right over head as I walk the path to their feeding area. It's quite moving, gets me in the soul.
