My 5 white Bovans just keep laying and laying. I got them from a friend last summer, who originally bought a dozen or so of them "2nd-hand" from a small-scale egg-factory nearby, and gave me five.
Now, he's ordered a few brown bovans and wants to give me a couple.
in 30 days, I get about 145 eggs. Supposedly they'll "reduce speed" in a coupla years.
But I wonder If they'd go broody if I let the eggs accumulate. Anyhow, I'll try to find a rooster to keep them company, and see what sort of chicks will be hatched, if any.
