Hi everyone! I'm newer than those just getting started - I don't even have my chickens yet! :-(

I want to be able to get 6-8 wyandottes, orpingtons, or RIReds, but I'm not having much luck. I've been told not to bring in a mix from different flocks, so I am looking to find them all together which is hard to do! My dh is building me the most awesome coop!

I can't wait to get started - my grand-kids are going to love this too!

Maybe you can find someone to order a batch of chicks with? It is kind of late in the season, but still do-able!
