i should also say it was my first week out of Dumfries since 2007!!!Oh wow. I was just in Liverpool on the 13th on October as a little getaway holiday! Absolutely loved it!. then day after on 14th I was in Blackpool as well, another amazing place to visit!
I am so happy that you had a lovely time in Liverpool also I hope u liked the Blackpool lights! The lights and the nightlife are amazingi should also say it was my first week out of Dumfries since 2007!!!
as a very unfortunate note we had left just before the Blackpool lights!!! we left at 18:30. however we are hoping to get back there this month! To be honest I'm such a home sick person so I don't venture out of Dumfries much at all. not even to Dumfries and Galloway. I generally stick to main town Dumfries! I'm trying slowly to "crack my shell" and open up more to the amazing world around me to explore some more. I guess it doesn't help to be slightly on the Autism spectrum where I tend to stay only with places I know. However getting out of Dumfries last month was definitely a eye opener to the world around me and I'm hoping to see more of the UK at least very soon! Just a quick question, do you run a farm or are you a backyard poultry farm like I'm hoping to be very soon?, many thanks stefan!I am so happy that you had a lovely time in Liverpool also I hope u liked the Blackpool lights! Hey, I know how you feel, after having my own little support bubble, moving away was awful! I was so homesick! 10 yrs later I think I might have conquered it! We don’t have a farm, we have 11 acres, 3 horses, 3 dogs, 22 hens, ( a few are cockerels) 1 cat and 12 fish.as a very unfortunate note we had left just before the Blackpool lights!!! we left at 18:30. however we are hoping to get back there this month! 3 horses? I'm So jealous! LOL horses have been one animal I have always wanted to have. I know they are hard work but just always wanted to at least have 1. Unfort we live near middle of town so not enough space for big animal. as well has having to deal with neighbors lol. we do have a couple of unique animals anyway. we have 2 Pink toe tarantulas and a Eurasian Eagle owl and a Great Dane.. speaking of neighbors. Do you have any suggestions on what we can do if we hatch roosters? My options are bit more limited as I am very much too soft hearted to kill them for food! I was thinking of trying a crowing collar "as long as they are not seen as cruel" as I really would love to keep all my birds. I know I will have to keep the rooster separated from hens to stop interbreeding. I just want to find a good humane way they can all live their life out to the fullest. I know that's not always how farming works. Just the way I want mine to work. If at all possible in residential area.,Hey, I know how you feel, after having my own little support bubble, moving away was awful! I was so homesick! 10 yrs later I think I might have conquered it!
