BantyChooks! Thank you very much for the warm welcome!
If procrastinating was a class...I'm pretty sure I'd get an A+![]()

Thanks for the welcome Cuz!Well, here's an official welcome to Backyard Chickens! Ya know, you won't get awarded a four year badge till four years after your intro, right? So you've still got 4 years to go.
LOL JK![]()
OMG....those are beautiful!!! I love the bluecolor SO much. I didn't realize Australorps came in blue. I've only seen black ones in the pics I've seen. You're hen on the left is the same color as mine. You can imagine my surprise when I had blue and black chicks show up. Up until that point all the chicks had been brown chipmunk colored.![]()
I haven't seen what my blue pullet lays for an egg. I can never catch her laying. I hope to figure out the hen/hens or combination that's giving me these next year. I want more.![]()
I'll have to look back at my pic...but that would make total sense since she's from EE's. Some of mine have peas and some have walnut/cushion combs.
I've been wanting to get some Australorp eggs but the lady who has them never has any at the same time I'm traveling nearby. (It's an 8 hour round trip)
What color do your Australorps lay?
