Locally I am known as the bird man. I started raising birds when I was 12 and now I'm 61. Over the years I have raised hundreds of different species of birds, mammals, fish, and plants. Right now I'm fascinated with my serama bantams. I look forward to seeing and hearing about your "zoo".

Awesome. I'll try to post some pics this weekend. i work at a bank. Bankers hours....but that means I go to work at dark & get home at dark. Ugh! Story of most people's lives though. You know.

This morning when I called Pasqually, he did not answer me. I flipped on the light and he was laying on his back dead

. He was over 23 years old. He will be greatly missed.

Hello everyone! I'm new here but not new to our feathered friends. For as long as I can remember there has always been at least a bantam in the yard. I live in upper east TN on a 93 acre Homestead. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

I'm sorry to hear that. It's always sad to lose one of our flock, but at least Pasqually had a nice long life and was greatly loved.

Welcome to BYC as well. Glad you decided to join our flock. If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is lots of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Cheers.
