Hi everyone

Congratulations on making the transition from lurker to participant. And, it's wonderful that you are caring for birds that others don't want. I was involved in Keeshond dog rescue for several years; it is both rewarding to take in unwanted creatures and heart-breaking to see that others have cast them aside.

I have not been there in many years, but I've been to County Kilkenny. It's lovely, and it's great to have you on board.

So kind of you to rescue all those birds. It takes a special person to commit to that responsibility. Glad you joined our community! Good luck with your new flock!

Thanks Calendar Girl! Yes, rescuing adds that special something. Dogs are amazing too-I've a rescue dog, Charlie. He is my inspiration. Kilkenny is lovely, I live out in the wilderness which suits me and my hairy and feathered friends. Anyway, thank you very much for the warm welcome :)
