Welcome to BYC! Do you have any pictures of your critters?

Yeah! My mom's always joking that I take more pictures of my chickens than I take of myself. I'm currently running around town for a couple of errands so these pics aren't the best ones I have. First one is all of my outside chickens. Second is of my cute little bantum in the set up for "not ready for outside" chicks. And the last two are just ones I took this morning when I was cleaning up the coop.

I've kept a pretty close eye on everyone since noticing him and letting Buddy roam around the yard. I'm hoping the the smell of a dog will make it think twice about coming back but I've also have talked with Animal Control in my town and they've said they'd be willing to relocate the fox if I trap him.

So happy for you!! Welcome aboard! I was you at 18 (well the part that had a dream of chickens, gardening, canning, and all things good) but it took me about 25 years longer than you to actually achieve it. Keep doing what you're doing. You should start a journal including pictures and maybe even start a blog. I think that people of your generation are screaming for a simpler way of life and you're setting an inspirational example. Bravo!!
