Hi! My name is Richard and I’m new to BYC. We live on a small ranch and love homesteading. I recently retired from public service and enjoy working outside with our chickens . We currently have 21 egg layers and 50 broiler chicks in a brooder. I also have 25 Rhode Island’s and 25 White Leghorns being shipped the week of the 25th. We sell and “give away” our eggs (to our adult children). I’m currently building two chicken tractors to help us manage the new chicks when they are ready for pasture. In addition to chickens we have raised cattle for beef production and will be adding more cattle soon.
