I am thinking that he has some sussex but I am not sure.

Can anyone tell me what breed my rooster is? He was given to me and I am new to chickens.

A closer picture would help. I think that it is a mix, maybe with some Japanese Bantam in him.

He doesn't seem to like to be photographed this morning. Lol, this is the best I could get. I had to crop it.

Is he bantam or full-sized? The large comb, short legs, and overall body shape say Japanese Bantam to me. However, the leg coloring is wrong (they should have yellow legs), and the feather coloring isn't quite right either.
