Hi all,

I'm Kristy, 28, married from Australia -
found this site while trying to ID a lost duckling

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

April 2009


(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

Four - 3 x Isa Browns, 1 x Austrlorp

2 x Isa Browns we bought in April as pets,
the other Isa and Australorp we adopted as a
neighbour was going to release them into the bush to get fox eaten!


(3) What breeds do you have?

3 x Isa Brown, 1 x Australorp

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?


And chicken watching has become my latest hobby!


(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

MArried, work full time, also studying at Uni by correspondance, have started my own business,
do native wildlife rescue as a volunteer with my hubby.

Other pets would be our gorgeous 12yo pup - whom I missed so much when I left home that when I got married
she comes and stays with us on weekends ( I found out my hubby even goes and gets her on the weekends I am
away at Uni as he loves her too! ) Cute

Actually, we have someone elses lost duckling and am trying to ID it to return to either its owner,
or a local breeder of the same breed
