Hi, I have just joined this forum today. I have 5 chickens, did have six on Saturday but I had to have one euthanised due to difficulty breathing, I didn't want to see her die in pain. I have only had chickens for 12mths so I am still a novice.

I live in Queensland, Australia. I am married with two children Caitlin 7 years and Hamish 4.5 years. My kids love the chickens and love to collect their eggs and feed them.

I look forward to chatting to you all and gaining lots of knowledge on chickens.

I had to shout that because I'm all the way on the other side of the world! I'm so sad you had to lose a chicken like that, but you are brave for doing the right thing.I hope that will be the last bad thing that happens for a long long time!
