I have 5 adorable partridge plymouth rock chicks who just had their first visit outside at 4 weeks old. They did not like having to go back into their brooder tonight, but it's still a bit cold here in Southern California for them to be in their coop. It's only in the 70's during the day and then it drops down into the 50's at night. Don't laugh, that's pretty cold for Los Angeles. I intend to spoil them, they are really sweet.

I've been hearing about your heatwave. Hope is passes soon. We'll have ours soon enough too. My girls are out in their pen. At 4 weeks old I've been afraid to let them out. It's about 72 degrees but they seem to be fine.
