Hi from Florida

Mixen did well. We now have a new chicken coop, a new waterer, new feeder, pine chips, and chick starter. He is eating the starter, and drinking some. I have signed up for the chicken class that our area demands to get a license to own chickens. According to what we understand we think he is under one year old. He does not crow. Our little wandering chicken that adopted us is already part of the family. He clucks when we come near. He seems to like his new home.

Hello BYC friends.
Mixen is living at a nice farm and doing great. We had 4 hens, but when our eggs were stolen every night, we gave them to our daughter.
Fast forward, I just got 11 baby chick's. All doing well so far. They are now 5 days old. Getting started all over again.

Glad to hear you're back into chickens again! I assume you've solved issues with the varments! Congrats on the new chicks!
