Hi! Southern California (Pasadena) here too! I bought a bunch of bantam hens from My Pet Chicken as well, but right now, I have two silkies, a mille, and a white japanese! Welcome and hope to see more from ya!

Chickadee Lane seems like me a bit top busy for frequent posts. I know now why my cousins all left the farm!!! Have chick ad board at local feed store. Raising my juveniles as naturally as possible. And praying some too...It's all a learning process. Like raising children. I have quite a bit of fun with the birds and my youngest grandchildren though. Preschoolers. That is worth all the work. I tell them they must always be kind to the chicks to be trusted by them. Chicks remember the fearful stuff really well.
