So—hubby and I have decided to try something new in our old(er) age. Our farm friends up the road a piece started a franchise with “Rent-the-chicken” just this spring. Hubby and I have talked for years about building a chicken coop and getting chickens but we were too (groan) chicken to take the plunge.

When our friend told us about this opportunity we figured this might be a good way to see if we are cut out to be chicken farmers. What is the term for that anyhow?

Well Holly and Ivy (my names for them) arrived two days ago it was love at first sight! Looking forward to getting to know all of you and lots more about how to keep Holly and Ivy happy!
