Would like to say hi to all here.

I am new to this site, but have had chickens for 3 yrs now.
I started with 8 Brown Leghorns ( 1 has died since), went to 11 EE's (1 turned out to be a Golden Laced Wyondette),
12 Brown Leghorns, bought 2 Blue Wheaten Ameraucana roosters.
1 dog, 2+ cats, 7 adult pigs and 9 piglets.

Since I am here, what results have anyone had for feather pecking (cannibalism)???
I think/know I have at least 1 Barred pecking, I have seen her do it to 1 roo.
I have seen concoctions (home made) and seen an iodine suggestion, and of course, store bought products.

I need to end this before 1 dies

Hi and welcome from Alabama! If you lived here I would say shoot the bully with a water pistol. They hate it. It is probably a little chilly in your neck of the woods at the present. I hate it when one chicken get picked on. In my little flock it always seems to be the light colored chicks that get it the worst.

Thanx for the link Hoosiermomma... That is what I was looking for!

I had seen a version of the description of the mix, but amount/details were missing.

Hi beachchickie,
My picking bird is not color dependent... she will do dark or light colors. She seems to be picking on EE's only, including
1 of my Blue Wheaten roo's.

from Indiana! mine all will pick on my Polish's crest but if I spray it witheither Betadine or Blukote they will leave her alone for a few weeks until I spray her again. They don't like the taste and may try it but wipe their mouths off when they try. Quite funny and just!
