Hi! I'm retired and have been in love with poultry for almost 30 yrs. I have peafowl, guineas, chickens and call ducks, as well as horses and cattle. I'd cut down on chickens until my son recently commented that I should get some that laid real eggs instead of the tiny ones my banties lay! For the first time in many years I'm listening to a bunch of hatching chicks-Jersey Giants! They should make a large enough egg for my son don't ya think?
