Welcome from Charlotte! We actually go through Iron Station fairly frequently on our way to Lincolnton (Boger City, really ). My sister lives just south of Stanley.

We just hatched 15 ( 8 Welsummer, 6 Faverolles & 1 mutt ) chicks and have 18 in the incubator at my kids school ( Cramerton Christian ) in the 4th grade class. We're also hatching more in 2nd grade when this batch is done. We're going to be selling most of these, though I'll have to keep at least 1 or 2.... the 1st batch is Frizzled Cochins - still deciding on the 2nd batch.

Mt. Holly Farm Supply is a great place to get your chicken feed if there's not a place closer to you!
