Hi everyone!
We've lived in the country on 10 acres for 16 years. This will be our first year keeping chickens. We've been researching and meaning to for several years. This year we have been able to spend much more time on our acreage and decided this was the perfect time to get our flock going.
We have really enjoyed the baby chicks. I am glad that most of them are now in our coop instead of in my sewing room!
Our chicken first aid kit is stocked and ready, living an hour away from the city has taught us to be as prepared as we can for emergencies.
I look forward to participating in the group.
