Welcome! Nice kingdom. Are the hanging ribbons decorative or do they do something practical? Either way nice.

Thanks for the warm welcome! We only had 4' fencing to use so we left our fence posts 5' and filled in with a galvanized wire with ribbons tied/hanging to it so it not only looks cute but it makes the fencing appear higher as the girls won't fly up in to the moving ribbons and less worry about our crazy puppies trying to make the jump. The moving ribbons also helps deter predators along with the fishing wire we have strung over most of their run with metal mason jar lids hanging (we didn't have any CD's and the mason jar lids were about to be thrown out!) You might try the holographic rainbow tape that Walmart's sells in the garden section.
They had clearance on it a few years ago and I bought all I could get for $ 1.oo each.
I use it to keep the robin from pooing all over my mailbox. It's his favorite dumpspot.

Some people use it to mess up raptor brains and they avoid it.
