Hi from NZ, new to chicken keeping

Hi

I have had my 3 chickens for a few days. My girls are called Apple, Olive and Betsy. They are all approx a year old and are very friendly birds.

I have never kept chickens before but am super keen and can't wait to get my first egg.

If you just brought these girls home, they may need a week or two to settle in before they start laying again. Sometimes the stress of moving shuts off the eggs for a little while. But hang in there and pretty soon you should be in the eggs!!
