hello, I am excited to have just found this site. I used to incubate and raise birds of all kinds. I had a 500 egg incubator plus several small ones. From chickens, ducks, geese, guineas, turkeys. Also exotics. Pheasants, peacocks etc. I love birds! This was quite awhile back. I am now 77 and snowbird. My daughter just bought a place where she can have chickens and has bought a few chicks hat have started laying recently. She is excited to do what her mommy did years back. I bought her an incubator and have offered to help her when I arrive home soon. So I am trying to brush up on my knowledge. There is so much info out there nowadays. I had to do it the hard way. Thou have to say it was a whole lot cheaper back then. I am blown away at the prices! LOL I have sent her this site link to register. Looking forward to learning and meeting fellow birders. Jan S.
