Hi there, Marcus from South Sacramento. I recently took down our skateboard ramp and repurposed the wood for a chicken coop and planted a garden for my wife. My granddaughter, Adaleia helped me pick out 3 Golden Comets from a friend who has chickens that they raise and sell. We named our girls Roxie, Rosie, and Ruthie. We’re about a month in to raising them and they’re getting big fast. I spent a lot of time on my grandfather’s farm in Watsonville growing up and wanted Ada to experience animals and getting her hands dirty. She does good with them, but won’t hand feed them soldier fly larva. Ha ha. We’re happy to be here and look forward to any info that we can pick up in the group.
