I'd been milling over getting chickens for a while, and finally did it back in July. They didn't lay until they were nine months old, but they're delightful little creatures and it's wonderful having them bop around in the yard (even if they eat my corn stalks). I'm a small business owner who spends most of the day at home looking out at my yard so having chickens has been a great source of pride and contentment for me. Too bad my herding dogs just want to fuss with them - but the chickens won the yard.
Anyway, hi all. I posted in the chicken behavior forum about some issues we're having that I'd like to resolve sooner rather than later. I hope you'll consider helping me.
