I asked for a refund. It was too traumatic to try mailing chicks a second time.

I've had them mailed in the past, I can't open the box anymore. So now I wait til spring and get them from the feed store. If you don't want roosters, avoid straight run bins. Many smaller mom and pop feed stores will order any breed and sex you wish. Let them open the boxes.
