Hi Everyone, Like you all I've kept chickens for years and loved every minute. I've benefited so much from communities such as this that freely shares advice to help us all. It is an awesome worldwide community!
Recently one of our hens developed male characteristics and joined a very rare group that undergo this change. It's due to testosterone production and changes habits. There are similarities across many species, including us. As a recent grandparent I thought it would be a good vehicle to illustrate change and acceptance among peers, especially the very young. Hence this wee book that I've dedicated to you chicken lovers everywhere. It's on Amazon, title is Ada, The Chicken That Changed. Aimed at 4-6 year olds. Thank you for reading this.
