There is a way of uploading video directly but I never remember how. What most of us do is upload to YouTube or equivalent and then post the link here. It actually works really well as usually you can view the video here without going into the video hosting service.

Here's how to upload your video to our gallery. It's a way outside of Youtube, but that's what I use.
