Hi From Victoria (Australia)

G'day, and welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. What breed of chooks are you incubating?

Hi - to be honest, I cant remember what types of eggs I have. They are a mix of sorts..
as soon as they hatch, I will post some pics to see if I can get them identified :)
I have one Bantam Buff Leghorn, one bantam columbian Wyandotte and two bantam Gold laced Wyandotte in the back yard, so what ever hatches will have some big girls to look after (or boss) them.

Here are three of my babies. Hopefully by the time I get home today I will have a few more.

thanks Gander - I think we did ok... put down 16 eggs. one completely not fertile, 2 appearing to die at quite late stage, and 3 getting to around 18 days (maybe)
so in all we had 10 hatch, although one chicken died for no apparent reason.
9 healthy looking chicks, so noisy and oh so cute
