I just joined this minute and am also from Washington State! I just got my chickens in June. Have yet to receive an egg. Lights are installed so I'm hopeful I will get an egg in the next month or two.

Hi from Friday Harbor.

We are new to chicken ownership and got our first egg recently. We have 6 hens and apparently 1 rooster who will be in the stewpot soon. I am not sure who has more fun, the kids or me..
