Welcome from Romadfox in SC. I am actually from Ohio too, (farm in Chillicothe and lived in Xenia), but the Air Force took us around the world and landed us in SC. I have 6 hens, 9 weeks old. I have 2 X Buff Orpintons, 2 X Barred Rocks, and 2 X Rhoade Island Reds. I really want to Buckeyes cause it would be so cool to have a chicken developed in my home state. I have built a log coop for them which I am documenting on my BYC page. If you haven't built one yet, check it out as it is cheap and easy to make. Good luck with your girls and welcome!
