Hi, I’m a noob

Welcome to BYC! I would love to see some pictures of your flock
You should definitely get the drake two or three girls, as well as the tom. They should be fine adapting to the babies. Some introductions take longer than others.
We would love to see all of your critters!
:goodpost:I agree with this.

Humperdoo is beautiful! :love

1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Got my first chickens from tractor supply in April this year.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
29 chickens, 1 duck, 1 turkey

(3) What breeds do you have?
Rhode Island reds, leg horns, australorps, polish, isa, whyndotts and an odd couple of Heinz 57

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love watching them interact with us and each other. Funny little creatures, especially when they run around.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I’ve just relocated to the USA from the UK so I’ve been busy with our first house. Play an online game.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Not working yet but this year as I now have my green card I will find a job. I’d love to homestead but we are spending a lot on the house and on chickens! Have a rescue cat called humperdoo. He’s an indoor cat but he’s great friends with the chicks and chickens when they live in the garage.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Found the site when I was looking for more info on how to be a good chicken owner.
Welcome! I’m a noob also. My husband is a British transplant, just became a citizen after living here for ages. Welcome to the states too and if you need advice on good pubs with authentic British-ish food or shops that sell the stuff you miss... drop a line!
