SNAKE IN COOP WHAT CAN I DO

nothing really .... is it a rattle snake? Even so the only thing in danger would be chicks. The snakes come in and hunt micies here...

There are only a few egg eating snakes.... I have had garter snakes come through the finch cage wire dine on a clutch of finch eggs and were too big to get out.....
Had to get the snake out of the wire where he was stuck and let him loose in the yard.

We get rattle snakes as big around as four inches.... and about six feet long. I leave em alone and they leave me alone but I have relocated one or two who were where they shouldnt be... By the front door or back door to the house.

Then a big ole King snake moved in and no more rattlers. He was pretty ... California King Snakes get about four feet long and have colorful bands on them.

I’m in AU we don’t have rattle snakes but it was a red belly black snake and it tried to kill my polish hen Adina she is still alive thank goodness!
