I am a newbie and quickly becoming a nerd about it all.
I have 19, all different ages
(3 groups, 2 under lamps still). I have ten different kinds of chickens and one random cute duck who was hatched with chickens and won’t go with ducks now.

Poultry nerds are some of the best people!

I can appreciate your duck who only likes to hang out with chickens. I have a house chicken who is afraid of her own kind but is fine with ducks and geese.

Welcome to BYC, and thanks for posting photos of some of your flock!

Welcome to BYC! You have a pretty flock.
If your duck is a male, you'll need to separate him when he reaches puberty, so that he doesn't injure or kill your female chickens.
A duck's anatomy is different so breeding with a hen can kill the chicken.
Good luck, and I hope you enjoy BYC!
