Hi I am new from australia

Hi , thank you for the warm welcome animal lovers give. I have a small problem with my little friends . 2 out of 10 have splayed legs that hatched in the incubator unfortunately that are 1 week old so I don't know if I can use the rubber band methode , I think I might have a go . Thanks and happy Christmas and New Year

Hello and ! I hope you enjoy BYC just as much as the rest of us do! I'm sure the rubber band method will work with your little friends! You can also cut a strip of medical tape in half and gently wrap it around the chicks legs to mold the legs back to normal. Merry Christmas!

Sorry, I have no experience with splayed leg but see that you have already received some good advice.

I will just add that I hope you enjoy BYC. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends
